COVID-19 POLICY --- The Blackhorse Theatre
(CURRENT to MARCH 21, 2022)
Updates will be made on a continuous basis to this Policy as Government Legislation and Public Health Guidance information changes or becomes available.

Vaccination Requirements - all patrons, volunteers, cast and production team members of BVP will need to provide proof of full vaccination status with either a Health Canada or CDC authorized vaccine.
Fully vaccinated means 2 or more doses of the Covid-19 vaccine and must have be administered a minimum 14 days prior to attendance a performance.
An official proof of vaccination receipt displayed on a cell phone, or hard copy showing a QR code will be requested before entry into the theatre.
For the safety of all our patrons, performers and volunteers, failing to provide the required documentation will result in refusal to admit entry.
At BVP we are committed to Safety First.
Please Note: in regards to the recent announcement by the Provincial Government, The Blackhorse Theatre has decided to keep the proof of vaccination requirement for the performances of Five Alarm.
Masks - Due to our small intimate space, all patrons and BVP volunteers are required to properly wear the recommended surgical or N95 mask at all times while in the theatre and during the performance.
Bandanas, scarves, neck-gaiters, or other make-shift face coverings will not be permitted.
Physical Distancing - Efforts have been made to ensure that each group of patrons will be spaced apart in the auditorium to allow for physical distancing.
Our seating capacity will be reduced to 50%.
Sanitizer Stations - will be available upon entering the the theatre as well as in designated areas.
Housekeeping - Increased sanitizing measures are in place with detail to common contact surfaces (hot spots) such as door handles, railings and washrooms.
Enhanced cleaning will be conducted before, during and after each performance by our volunteers.
Contact Tracing - the name of the ticket purchaser will be the main contact person and must be responsible to relay an alert to all guests in their party, should it be necessary,
Contact information for the primary ticket buyer will be collected during your ticket order through The Little Box Office ticket system.
At Blackhorse, we respect your privacy. Your information will only be used if contact tracing is required.
Concession - until further notice, only bottled water will be available for purchase.
Disclaimer - Compliance with these guidelines will help reduce the risk of exposure, but they do not eliminate the potential risk of contracting Covid-19.
By purchasing a ticket to the performance of Five Alarm, or participating as a member of the cast or volunteer on the production crew, you are agreeing to abide by all the guidelines listed above without objection, and you accept any remaining risks.
The Blackhorse Village Players Theatre reserves the right to cancel this event if an increased risk to public health warrants it.
